Procedural democracy has became a new suffer for people of privilege province of Yogyakarta after merapi’s eruption on last October. That issue has insult their loyalty to their beloved sultan.
“ it is SBY’s fault as president of Indonesia” said Reni (20), one of private collage’s student of Jakarta.
After his statement that privilege province of Yogyakarta must be lead by governor who elected in procedural democracy, they demand a referendum to neglect that policy.
“that referendum has become an image of how democratic they are” reni continued.
Government, represent by SBY as President of Indonesia, should realizes that procedural democracy just another form of democracy, just like democracy in monarchy.
